CrossFit 1620 Membership Agreement

Agreement made on the 12/21/2024, between Cedarhill Gang LLC. referred to herein as the CrossFit 1620(CrossFit 1620), and

Both parties agree as follows:
1.  Membership Fees
All fees and schedules are subject to change without notice. There are no refunds for membership fees. The member's credit card will be charged according to the membership option.
Membership Option:
  • Elements, Renew date: 12/21/2024
All membership packages rates are per calendar month, paid monthly.
Once your Elements program is complete, that fee will be applied to your first month membership.  This applies to 3 day and unlimited memberships.  Punch cards are excluded.

2.  Freeze Policy
A. As stated in our membership agreement, you have the option to put your automatically recurring monthly membership on hold for any reason.
B. Membership hold requests must be submitted no less than 30 business days before your upcoming scheduled renewal date.  Membership hold requests received later cannot be processed until after the upcoming scheduled renewal payment.  All membership payments are non-refundable.  Membership hold requests are available in 30-day increments for up to three consecutive 30-day periods (30, 60, or 90 days).
C. Upon expiration of the hold period you choose, your account will automatically reactivate and regular membership payments will resume.  If you choose to cancel your membership during the hold period, the standard 30-day notice requirement stated in your membership agreement is applicable.  If you choose to reactivate your membership after it is cancelled, membership rates in effect at the time of reactivation will be applicable (membership rates are subject to change.)

3.  Late Payment / Declined Credit Card Fees
A late payment/declined credit card fee of $10 will be charged on any payment that is declined.

4. Cancellation of Membership by Member
A. If you decide to reactivate your membership in the future (and we hope you do) membership rates in effect at the time of reactivation will be applicable as membership rates are subject to change.
B. If you would like to put your membership on hold instead of cancelling, you can submit a Membership Hold Request for a 30, 60, or 90 day period.
C. Your membership will be cancelled 30 days from the submission date of your cancellation from.  Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within this 3-day period, the payment will be processed as scheduled.  All payments are non-refundable.
D. Agreements are auto renewed unless the Membership Cancellation Form is submitted to us at least 30 days prior to your scheduled auto renewal.
E. If you’re sure you’d like to cancel, just complete and submit the cancellation form 30 days prior to your next scheduled payment.  This will serve as your 30-day written cancellation notice as required by your membership agreement.

5. Attire
Appropriate footwear is highly recommended and required to train as a member of CrossFit 1620. Any barefoot lifting or running must be approved by the coach of the particular class and the management, and will be evaluated on a strict case by case basis. CrossFit 1620 is not liable for any harm or injury due to deviations in the recommended standards of footwear.

6.  Lost Articles
CrossFit 1620 assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen articles. Lost and found articles not claimed will be donated to charity.

7.  Smoking, Food and Drink.
No smoking is allowed in any part of the facility. Food or drink may be taken into workout areas if it is in a non-breakable, enclosed container.

8.  Children
Members must be 16 years of age or older unless supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Guest/Visitors under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.


9.  Conduct
CrossFit 1620 is committed to the health, safety, welfare of each of its members and staff and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent, or illegal behavior. CrossFit 1620 has the right to judge behavior and respond accordingly. This right includes, but is not limited to, termination of membership of any member engaging in unacceptable behavior.

10.  Damages
Members shall pay for any damages to CrossFit 1620 property which results from the willful or negligent conduct of member, member's guest or dependent children.

11.  Rules and/or Regulations
Members who do not observe CrossFit 1620 rules and regulations or who abuse equipment in any fashion will be asked to leave. The management reserves the right to terminate membership to anyone who refuses to observe any of CrossFit 1620's rules or regulations. Not all rules and regulations are listed in this agreement. CrossFit 1620 reserves the rights to add, change or remove rules, conditions of membership, opening and closing hours, and all services and facilities offered by CrossFit 1620

12.  Use of Photo and Video
CrossFit 1620, its representatives and employees have the right to take photographs of Member and Member's property whilst training with CrossFit 1620.

CrossFit 1620 is authorized to use and publish these photos or videos in print and/or electronically. CrossFit 1620 may use such photographs of Member with or without Member's name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.

13.  Miscellaneous
a. This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties, and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements between them concerning the subject matter of this Agreement. The provisions of this may be waived, altered, amended or repealed, in whole or in part, only upon prior written consent of all parties. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of MA without regard to the principles of conflict of laws thereof and treated as a contract entirely made and execute within MA

b. Member has read, and fully agrees to the term of this Agreement and understands and agrees that by signing this Agreement (which contains a waiver, release and assumption of risks) Member has given up considerable future legal rights. Member has signed this Agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress or threat of duress, without inducement, promise or guarantee being communicated to him/her. Member certifies and warrants that he/she is 18 years of age or older and mentally competent to enter into this Agreement.
