Class & Athlete Recovery Zone Bookings:
You will need to create a WODHOPPER account, this can be displayed as icon on your mobile device. Click HERE to create your WODHopper account and use this to
RSVP TO EVERY CLASS you plan on attending and CANCEL if you cannot.
SIGN IN to the Athlete Recovery Zone
SIGN-IN when you arrive, either on your mobile device or on the iPad outside the Kitchen.
Please be PUNCTUAL to classes as they will start ON TIME!
Infrared Sauna. Cold Plunge & Shower Personal Area
If you like to have your own personal space you can book our closed off Infrared Sauna, Cold Plunge and Shower area for personal use in 45 minute blocks. Please note that this area needs to be booked separately and is not included in memberships – please speak to staff about how you can book in for a single session or 10 session pass.
Note – members can use the open area with the Steam 6-Person Sauna and Cold Lunge as part of their membership, however you are not guaranteed personal use.
Centre Rules:
We have a ‘Box Rules’ poster on display at the gym please take the time to read this and talk to one of our coaches if you have any questions. Most importantly:
Please make sure shoes are clean before entering.
Do not spray deodorants inside (thank you!)
If you use a towel or face washer, please place them in the washing baskets provided.
- Please pack up your equipment and wipe down after use – note we are community driven and we finish each class with a high five or fist pump once EVERYONE is finished and packed away
Purchasing Extra Items
You will notice we have Archie’s Footwear and FitAid Drinks for sale at the gym. FitAid drink are $5 each and Archie costs are listed on the display. Should you wish to purchase, please see a staff member and they will add the product to your account.
Bag Area:
Please leave your bags, keys etc on the table at the entrance to the gym so we don't have any tri[p hazards on the floor. We will be providing storage shelves very soon.
Communication:
Please request to join our PRIVATE FB members group. This is a great way to keep up to date with what's happening in the box and with other members.
Children:
We welcome you to bring your bubs or kids and provide an area for them to be, but please note this is unsupervised. No kids are allowed in the class area or kitchen and must remain in the designated kids area.
Membership enquiries/freeze:
Please email us at info@surfcoastsportshub.com.au and note that for a suspension to apply you must:
- Have either have a medical condition or be away for a minimum of one week
- Have been a member for at least 1 month before a membership can be applied.
- Need to request your membership freeze at minimum one week before you go away in writing, over email.
- If you are heading away, we are happy to provide you with a PDF of on the road travel programs, please ask before you go :)
- Member freeze can apply for a maximum of six weeks per year.
- For members who pay weekly or fortnightly, know your membership will be deducted as normal and refunded to you.

Surf Coast Sports Hub Membership Agreement

All fees and schedules are subject to change without notice. There are no refunds for membership fees. The member's credit card will be charged according to the membership option.

New members have three days after signing this Agreement to cancel their membership without penalty. If the Agreement is cancelled within three days, SCSH PTY LTD will return all amounts paid (in the same manner paid) within 30 days after cancellation. If original payment was by credit card, the amount paid will be credited to the card used for the original transaction. To cancel, new members must call, email, or come into SCSH PTY LTD and inform SCSH PTY LTD of their wishes to cancel.
3. Late Payment / Declined Credit Card Fees
A late payment/declined credit card fee of $30 will be charged on any payment past due. Please check WODHopper for your payment schedule for your membership option.
4. Cancellation of Membership by Member
A member may cancel his/her membership at any time with 30-days notice. If appropriate notice is not given the member will be charged a cancellation fee, which for the avoidance of doubt, shall be the greater of, half of the remaining balance of the membership or two months at the current rate stated in this agreement. A Member may cancel their membership without paying the cancellation fee if they move more than 50 miles further than the address listed on their membership application, provided the member notifies SCSH PTY LTD of the move prior to the first of the month in which the move is to occur. Any member who suffers a physical disability that will prevent him or her from using the facility for more than six months will not be charged a cancellation fee as long as the cancellation is accompanied by a doctor's note documenting the injury and prognosis. Members may cancel memberships by notifying SCSH PTY LTD of their wish to cancel over the phone or in person, any time during business hours prior to the first day of the month to be cancelled. There are no refunds for membership fees, and SCSH PTY LTD will not prorate a cancelled membership.
5. Attire
Appropriate footwear is highly recommended and required to train as a member of SCSH PTY LTD. Any barefoot lifting or running must be approved by the coach of the particular class and the management, and will be evaluated on a strict case by case basis. SCSH PTY LTD is not liable for any harm or injury due to deviations in the recommended standards of footwear.
6. Lost Articles
SCSH PTY LTD assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen articles. Lost and found articles not claimed within 30 days will be donated to charity.
7. Smoking, Food and Drink.
No smoking is allowed in any part of the facility. Food or drink may be taken into workout areas if it is in a non-breakable, enclosed container.
8. Conduct
SCSH PTY LTD is committed to the health, safety, welfare of each of its members and staff and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent, or illegal behavior. SCSH PTY LTD has the right to judge behavior and respond accordingly. This right includes, but is not limited to, termination of membership of any member engaging in unacceptable behavior.
9. Damages
Members shall pay for any damages to SCSH PTY LTD property which results from the willful or negligent conduct of member, member's guest or dependent children.
10. Rules and/or Regulations
Members who do not observe SCSH PTY LTD rules and regulations or who abuse equipment in any fashion will be asked to leave. The management reserves the right to terminate membership to anyone who refuses to observe any of SCSH PTY LTD's rules or regulations. Not all rules and regulations are listed in this agreement. SCSH PTY LTD reserves the rights to add, change or remove rules, conditions of membership, opening and closing hours, and all services and facilities offered by SCSH PTY LTD
11. Miscellaneous
a. This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties, and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements between them concerning the subject matter of this Agreement. The provisions of this may be waived, altered, amended or repealed, in whole or in part, only upon prior written consent of all parties. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Vic without regard to the principles of conflict of laws thereof and treated as a contract entirely made and execute within Vic

Member has read, and fully agrees to the term of this Agreement and understands and agrees that by signing this Agreement (which contains a waiver, release and assumption of risks) Member has given up considerable future legal rights. Member has signed this Agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress or threat of duress, without inducement, promise or guarantee being communicated to him/her. Member certifies and warrants that he/she is 18 years of age or older and mentally competent to enter into this Agreement.
