1. Membership Fees
All fees and schedules are subject to change without notice. There are no refunds for membership fees. For recurring memberships, the member's credit card will be charged bi-weekly (Recurring charges do not apply to drop-ins or personal training clients that are not on a length of term agreement, e.g. 3, 6 month, etc.).

Membership Option:
- Summer Youth Sports Readiness Program
All memberships are paid bi-weekly or per packages agreed to by the member/client Company and/or trainer.
Yearly increases in membership dues of 3-5% are to be expected to keep up with rising costs and to maintain facility and equipment.
2. Three-Day Right of Rescission
New members have three days after signing this Agreement to cancel their membership without penalty. If the Agreement is cancelled within three days, Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong will return all amounts paid, minus any used personal training sessions, (in the same manner paid) within 30 days after cancellation. If original payment was by credit card, the amount paid will be credited to the card used for the original transaction. To cancel, new members must call, email, or come into Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong and inform Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong of their wishes to cancel.

3. Cancellation of Membership (Group/Personal Training/Hybrid/Barbell) by Member
A member may cancel their membership at any time with a full 30-days notice with the exception of specified time allotment memberships (3, 6 months, etc). Members may cancel memberships by notifying Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong of their wish to cancel over the phone or in person, any time during business hours. There are no refunds for membership fees, and Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong will not prorate a cancelled membership. This applies to ongoing personal training clients that are not in specified time allotted agreements (3, 6 months, etc.). All specified time allotted personal training agreements (3, 6 months, etc.) cannot be canceled until full completion of the agreed upon time allotment (3, 6 months ,etc). All specified time allotment memberships automatically move to biweekly payments on an ongoing basis unless otherwise agreed to by the trainer, and client. The 30 day notice to cancel will be in effect once the client moves to biweekly payments outside of the specified time allotment agreement. A membership may not be canceled during any suspension (see medical suspension below), they can only be canceled during active memberships. All these same terms apply to barbell club only memberships and those participating in barbell club add on. Any cancellation and re-sign in 12 month period will result in a 12 week membership obligation.

4. Late Payment / Declined Credit Card Fees
A late payment/declined credit card fee of $30 will be charged on any payment past due.

Due to injury or illness a member may place their membership on suspension for 30 days but must provide a doctor's note confirming that they are unable to workout for 30 days. The member is required to pay in advance for the 30 days (2 biweekly payments) that will be credited back to them if they return at the end of the 30 days. Injuries or illnesses that extend past a 30 day period are taken on a case by case basis. The 30 day (2 biweekly payments) prepay requirement applies to those who elect to utilize the open gym only membership (provided only for those recovering from injuries).
6. Cancellations of Personal Training Sessions/Semi-Private Training Sessions/Total Transformation Packages/Personal Training Packages/Semi-Private Training Packages
Cancellations of personal training session require 24 hour notice. Failure to provide 24 hour notice will result in a charge of 100% of the personal training rate that the session was to be paid by the client/member, or the forfeiture of that session if the member is on biweekly automatic payments. This cannot be applied to pre-paid personal training sessions. Clients who provide at least 24 hours notice will have 30 days to make up the personal training/mentor sessions or they will be forfeited. Clients who provide at least 24 hours notice can choose to bank the sessions and complete them within the 30 day requirement to make them up. Banking sessions must occur in 7 day blocks, and no more than four (4) seven day blocks in a calendar year can be banked. Clients are still required to make up these banked sessions within 30 days. Clients are responsible to pay for and complete all personal training/mentor sessions that are agreed upon in their membership agreement and there are no refunds for unused sessions. Client agrees that all these stipulations apply to personal training packages, semi-private training packages and Total Transformation packages, hybrid memberships, and new member onboarding personal training sessions as well.
7. Buddy/couples personal training sessions
Those who sign up for buddy session personal training agree that all sessions are to be completed together. Completing any sessions solo will require the client to pay the full personal training rate (or the difference) for any solo personal training sessions. Clients must complete and/or pay for all the sessions they agreed upon in their membership agreement and there are no refunds for unused sessions.
8. No Show/Failure to attend reserved classes
There is a $10 no "show fee" for members who don't attend a full class/full open gym and this applies to all group, barbell club and open gym only and personal training memberships.
9. Nutrition services clients are required to pay for the entirety of the agreed upon nutrition services whether they use them or not. Failure to provide 24 notice for scheduled nutrition coaching sessions will result in a $30 no show fee.
10. Total Transformation Packages
Clients are responsible to pay for the entirety of the 12 week program. There are no refunds for partially complete packages. "No show" fees for group classes and cancellation fees/policy for personal training apply to Total Transformation Packages.
11. Attire
Appropriate footwear is highly recommended and required to train as a member of Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong. Any barefoot lifting or running must be approved by the coach of the particular class and the management, and will be evaluated on a strict case by case basis. Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong is not liable for any harm or injury due to deviations in the recommended standards of footwear.
12. Lost Articles
Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen articles. Lost and found items are placed in the yellow and black bin up at the front of the gym. Lost and found articles not claimed will be donated to charity.
13. Smoking, Food and Drink.
No smoking is allowed in any part of the facility. Food is to be kept off the workout space area and is to be consumed in the entryway area. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the workout space. Members are required to clean up after themselves.
14. Children
Members must be 16 years of age or older unless supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Guest/Visitors under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
15. Dogs
Dogs are welcome in the gym but we have the following rules that must be followed:
a. Dogs are not allowed at any time on the workout space.
b. Dogs cannot be aggressive towards people or other dogs
c. Dogs must not be disruptive
d. Dogs are not allowed on the couches
e. Members must clean up after their dogs to include sweeping up their hair and cleaning up messes.
f. Any damage incurred from a member's dog will be the responsibility of the member to pay for the repair.
16. Open Gym Policies
- You must reserve an open gym space just like you do a class
- IMPORTANT: open gym is not to be used to do the workout of the day along with the class. This creates confusion and is a safety risk.
- Be respectful of the other members using open gym and stay in your space.
- You can use any equipment in the gym but classes take priority. Don’t take equipment/machines/boxes from classes unless approved by a coach.
17. Member Code of Conduct
Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong is committed to the health, safety, welfare of each of its members and staff and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent, or illegal behavior. Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong has the right to judge behavior and respond accordingly. This right includes, but is not limited to, termination of membership of any member engaging in unacceptable behavior. I agree to the following:

This right includes, but is not limited to, termination of membership of any member engaging in unacceptable behavior. I agree to the following:
SAFETY
- Pay attention when the coach is giving instruction
- Wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear while working out
- During active classes, only athletes and coaches are allowed on the gym floor
- No food in the gym area
- Respect other people’s workout space
- Control equipment to avoid unnecessary throwing or dropping, whenever possible (no throwing down dumbbells and kettlebells
- Avoid disruptive behavior and horseplay
- Use all equipment property, without risk of injury or damage
- Clean equipment after use
- Return equipment to its designated storage space
PROGRESSION
- Participate as frequently as possible
- Bring a positive “can do” attitude and good work ethic
- Arrive on time and ready to being at least 5 mins prior to class
- Ask questions and seek out guidance from the coaches
- Have relentless pursuit of proper technique and ask for help from coaches
- Be coachable - check your ego at the door (virtue #1 HUMBLE)
- Always give your best effort
- Push yourself beyond your comfort zone but always with your safety and good form first!
- Record your results with integrity (don’t cut reps in workouts!)
BELONGING
- Interact with each other in a civil, courteous and respectful manner
- We have a zero tolerance policy for harassing and/or discriminatory behavior
- No bullying, belittling or gossip
- Avoid excessively yelling profanity
- Cheer on and encourage other members during workouts
- Don’t put your equipment away/clean up until all members are done with their workout
- Congratulate/celebrate others on their achievements
- Participate in the gym community through in-person and online activity
- Help new members feel welcome
18. Client Bill of Rights
At Colfax Strong we promise to:
- Always be on time for our appointment with you.
- Be prepared with a training plan for the session.
- Alter workouts as required/needed (if you need accommodations just ask)
- Make you the center of our attention during your session.
- Write exercise and nutrition plans to fit your long-term progression.
- Behave in a professional manner.
- Offer a safe and respectful environment for all members of our community.
- Hold clients, team members and vendors accountable when they aren’t living up to our values. We won’t be afraid to correct individuals in our space if they make rude comments or make inappropriate jokes about someone’s body, gender presentation, race or anything else.
- Explain why any given exercise is relevant to you.
- Correctly invoice and give receipts, or make corrections immediately.
- Return your phone call or email at the first available opportunity.
- Provide you with a safe, clean space to train.
- Treat every client the same with regard to pricing, scheduling and answering questions.
- Stay on top of relevant research that will help you achieve your goals.
- Be as flexible as possible in accommodating your schedule.
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality.
- Hold your lost items for two weeks before donating them to an appropriate charity.
Members shall pay for any damages to Reckoning Fitness property which results from the willful or negligent conduct of member, member's guest(s), dependent children or animals.
20. Rules and/or Regulations
Members who do not observe Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong rules and regulations or who abuse equipment in any fashion will be asked to leave. The management reserves the right to terminate membership to anyone who refuses to observe any of Reckoning Fitness's , D/B/A Colfax Strong rules or regulations. Not all rules and regulations are listed in this agreement. Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong reserves the rights to add, change or remove rules, conditions of membership, opening and closing hours, and all services and facilities offered by Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong
21. Waiver, Release and Assumption of Risk
a. The undersigned member (hereinafter referred to as Member) understands and agrees that he/she is voluntarily participating in physical activities which may expose Member to some level of risk or injury, and Member represents that he/she is aware of the nature of these activities and agrees to accept any and all risks associated with participation in these activities.
b. Member represents that he/she is in good physical health, and that Member shall notify Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong in writing if he/she becomes unable to participate in an activity due to some physical or mental considerations. In consideration of Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong allowing Member to participate in physical activity, Member agrees to indemnify and hold Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong harmless, as well as its directors, agents, officers, and employees, against loss (including reasonable attorney fees) from any and all claims of negligence, demands, rights, or causes of action of any kind or nature that may hereafter at any time be made or brought by Member or on Member's behalf for any know or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen bodily or personal injuries, damages to property and consequences thereof which may be sustained by Member as a direct or indirect result of participating in the aforementioned activities and use of the equipment of Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong.
c. The provision of the Paragraph shall continue to full force and effect even after the termination of Member's membership with Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong.
22. Use of Photo and Video
Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs and videos of Member and Member's property whilst training with Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong.
Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong is authorized to use and publish these photos or videos in print and/or electronically. Reckoning Fitness, D/B/A Colfax Strong may use such photographs of Member with or without Member's name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
23. Miscellaneous
a. This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties, and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements between them concerning the subject matter of this Agreement. The provisions of this may be waived, altered, amended or repealed, in whole or in part, only upon prior written consent of all parties. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of CO without regard to the principles of conflict of laws thereof and treated as a contract entirely made and execute within CO
b. Member has read, and fully agrees to the term of this Agreement and understands and agrees that by signing this Agreement (which contains a waiver, release and assumption of risks) Member has given up considerable future legal rights. Member has signed this Agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress or threat of duress, without inducement, promise or guarantee being communicated to him/her. Member certifies and warrants that he/she is 18 years of age or older and mentally competent to enter into this Agreement.
